5. Applicant must attend one General Meeting (2nd Tuesday of each month at 8:00 PM) prior to final acceptance of membership. Also, satisfactory completion of the NOSC's formal Safety Training Program must be completed prior to issua nce of membership credentials and unrestricted participation in programs. Additional RO Training is required for "nonprogram" range access.
6. Applicant has completed a review of the North Olmsted Sportsman's Club Constitution, ByLaws, and other Rules & Regulations and agrees to comply with these documents as they are now or as amended.
7. By signing this application and as a condition of membership , applicant agrees to provide upon request, authorization to North Olmsted Sportsman's Club to conduct, a criminal background check, should the Board of Trustees, at their sole discretion, determine these would be in the best interest of the organization.
8. I understand that proof of National Rifle Association membership is required to join and to renew membership in the North Olmsted Sportsman's Club.
9. I declare that I am 18 years of age or older, a citizen or legal resident of the United States of America; that I am not a member of any organization or group having as its purpose the overthrow of the government of the United States; that I have never been convicted of a crime of violence , that I am not an abuser of alcohol or drugs, that I am mentally competent, and I am in no way legally disqualified from owning, possessing, or using a firearm.
